TMF hosts a regular event twice a month. Get a good morning strech, go for a nice easy walk and enjoy some lunch from the garden. Join us, won't you?
On October 2, 2014, TigerMountain Foundation (TMF) held our first wine and cheese event. One of our board members generously opened their home, Michael Shelton and his lovely wife Marie.
Founder & CEO Darren Chapman, along with Board Chair Jason Michael Walker spoke about the work that is done by TMF. This work helps so many adults and children gain skills, confidence and the ability to succeed. Some of the youngest TMF participants shared their experiences. They talked about what it is like at TMF and the Garden for Tomorrow. Everyone had a great time and learned more about the impact TigerMountain Foundation is having in the community they serve. TMF intends to continue these events. To get the word out.
Thanks to all those who attended and to those who give their financial support!
TigerMountain Foundation’s mission is to empower people by building flourishing community gardens, providing life skills support and workforce development through neighborhood revitalization and beautification.
As a change agent for healthy living, TMF envisions a healthy community where all citizens can reach their maximum potential.

The concept is to not only plant fruits and vegetables but also cultivate dreams into reality....read more
Tigermountain uses a model of multi ethnic, multi cultural, intergenerational partnerships to create a vast base of assets to bring to the table. The tidalwave of participation leads to opportunity for all. For example: an attorney, nurse, or accountant who wants to become a volunteer for TMF has an opportunity to satisfy their want to do things for the community, while also providing an opportunity to network with likeminded business professionals. Tigermountain brought these assets together by creating community gardens as a meeting place to not only bring nutritious, affordable, accessible foods but to also educate and stimulate the same community.
